DOCOMO Europe Ltd, headquartered in London, co-ordinates the activities of the subsidiary companies as below.
These subsidiaries were established for the research into, and promotion of, mobile multimedia services in Europe. NTT DOCOMO has also formed strong relationships with prominent operators in the European mobile community through which it cooperates to explore and develop new opportunities.

Euro-Labs actively engages in collaboration with universities and other research institutions located in Munich and other parts of Germany and Europe. Beyond that it is substantially contributing to International research, such as European projects in the 6FP IST framework, and to standardisation bodies including ITU-T, WWRF, OMG and 3GPP.
With innovative mobile technologies, such as i-mode and FOMA (3G), NTT DOCOMO has opened up a new dimension in the field of mobile telecommunication services. Under the key phrase 'Mobile Adventure', DOCOMO Euro-Labs is aiming with its technology advances to be at the forefront of the future mobile revolution worldwide.
